There were two unforgettable Apex Challenge competitions in 2016 at Temple Newsam in Leeds and also the Eastern Moors Estate in the Peak District.
It was a year that presented several challenges for the team to overcome with the date of Easter reducing the number of teams able to make it to one of our events. It was also a year that we made some big decisions about the future of the event and decided to concentrate on one big event each year, rather than two.
You can find out more about the year by reading our latest annual report.
Each year the Apex Challenge looks back at what has been achieved and takes time planning what the event will do in the future. This booklet contains all that and more. Reading it will show you how one of the country's biggest Scout competitions is organised and how much it costs to stage such an event.
