You should arrive at the start between 5:30pm and 6:30pm on Saturday 10th May. If you arrive earlier than that, please be patient as we are unlikely to be able to start registering teams until 5:30pm. Please avoid arriving any later than 6:30pm.
The Event is taking place at Sherwood Pines Forest Park, which is clearly signposted off the B6030 between Mansfield and Olerton, close to the village of Clipstone.
The Grid reference of the road entrance to the forest is SK 612647. The area is marked on some road maps as "Clipstone Forest". See attached map. When approaching the area, take care to follow signs for "Sherwood Pines" and not the "Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre" as this is a different place, some three miles North.
From
the A1:
Take the A614 through Ollerton. One mile South of the Ollerton roundabout, turn right onto the B6030 for Mansfield. Go straight over the B6034 at Lidgett, following signs for Sherwood Pines. The event area is well signposted on the left hand side.
From the M1:
Leave the M1 at any of the junctions 27-29 depending on your direction, and head into Mansfield. From here you need to leave on the B6030 towards Clipstone and Lidgett. Travel through Clipsone following signs for Sherwood Pines. The event area is about a mile after Clipstone village on the right hand side.
