It's always great to get feedback from people who've taken part in our competitions telling us what they think about them. These are some articles written by some of our winning team members about their success. Many have valuable hints and tips!
"The
day itself is great. We've never been to another competition like it."
Matt Tricklebank from South Yorkshire's Woodseats Explorers was part of the winning team at the September 2003 Apex Challenge.
"You
might as well have a vague plan rather than wandering round like headless
chickens."
Dan Currie from South Yorkshire's Woodseats Explorers was part of the very first winning team in September 2002.
"I
reckon there isn't another Scouting competition that has such a broad range
of activities and activities that are fun."
Richard Kirk from South Yorkshire's Woodseats Network's been part of three winning teams.
After the September 2003 competition we set a report writing competition with a rucksack stuffed with prizes up for grabs for the best one. If you've not been to one of the competitions before they give you a really good idea what it's like to take part.
