Saturday 8th/Sunday 9th May 2004: Wharncliffe
The May 2004 Apex Overnight Challenge was the first Apex competition to be open to teams of Explorer and Network scouts from all over the UK. The three previous events have attracted entaries from all over Yorkshire and the surrounding area.

All the details from the competition including a look at what each of the 12 main activity bases had to offer (including the bucket of maggots in all their glory!).
Prizes:
The prizes were some of the best we've ever given away at the Apex Challenge. There were awards for the top three teams in both the Explorer and Network competitions.
